Agreement
By creating an account or using RoleVerity you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The demo account is a fictional candidate for looking around; it is still covered by these terms.
RoleVerity is an early product operated by David Shin in California, United States. Features will change. There is no uptime service level.
The service
RoleVerity is an evidence-backed job-search tool. It can track applications, store a Career Brain, analyze a posting, propose résumé edits, generate a DOCX, and draft a cover letter. It does not apply to jobs for you, scrape job boards at scale, or contact employers on your behalf.
Analysis is a verdict plus per-requirement findings. The product will never present a match percentage or a hiring-probability number.
Your account
One person per account. Keep the password to yourself. You are responsible for activity under the account. The seeded demo account is shared fiction and must not be treated as a private workspace.
We may suspend or close an account that is abused, that tries to read another user's data, or that uses the service to generate fabricated credentials for someone else.
Your content
You own the résumés, notes, Career Brain rows, and artifacts you put in the product. You grant us a limited license to store, process, display, and — when you invoke a model task — transmit that content as needed to run the service.
You represent that you have the right to upload what you upload. Do not put someone else's private résumé, offer letter, or contact list into the product unless you are allowed to.
Job descriptions, uploads, and pasted text are treated as untrusted data, never as instructions to the system.
AI output
Model output is a suggestion. Extraction fills fields you can edit. Career import drafts are not Career Brain facts until you confirm them. Résumé edits are not written into a file until you accept them. Unsupported edits cannot be accepted.
You remain responsible for every word you send to an employer. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, accuracy, or that Truth Guard will catch every unsupported claim. The AI disclosure page states exactly what is sent to Anthropic.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access another account's data. Do not use the service to mass-generate applications, scrape third-party sites beyond the single URL import, or circumvent usage limits once those exist. Do not upload malware. Do not use the product if you are under 18.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided as is. RoleVerity disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the extent the law allows.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a claim relating to the service is the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you have paid nothing. We are not liable for lost offers, rejected applications, or a résumé you chose to send.
Law, changes, contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. You may delete your account at any time. We may update these terms; the date at the top is the effective date.
Questions: hello@roleverity.app. Refunds, when billing exists, are described on the refunds page.
